Portrait by Jordan Tiberio
Jordan Huelskamp is the Founder of Salon, a collective of legacy-minded tastemakers assembling one of the most discerning art collections in the world. Through a shared commitment to cultural stewardship and curatorial rigor, Salon acquires museum-quality works—co-owned by its members and installed in their homes across the globe. Members hold an enduring stake in the cultural and financial legacy of contemporary art—all while enjoying the privilege of living with it every day.
Previously, Huelskamp served as Curatorial Lead at Artsy, where she spearheaded merchandising strategy across the platform’s app and marketing channels. Her work illuminated Artsy’s industry-leading dataset into compelling narratives about the art market—reaching a global audience of 6M+ (the largest online audience in commercial art) and shaping how a new generation engaged with collecting online.
A New York–based entrepreneur, Huelskamp brings deep experience in digital strategy, curation, and community design. Her interests in merging art, technology, and human connection draw from previous experience as an arts and culture writer as well as roles at Apple and early-stage Silicon Valley start-ups.
Salon was born from Huelskamp’s continued vision for a more democratized art world, strengthened by art market savvy gained through years at Artsy and her proven track record growing nascent communities.
Huelskamp also sits on the board of the mission-driven arts nonprofit WORTHLESSSTUDIOS in New York, which provides space, materials, technical assistance and resources for aspiring artists of all backgrounds to realize their artistic visions.
Huelskamp was educated at Stanford University (B.A. in American Studies) and Columbia University (M.S. in Journalism).
